CruiseMaine and Maine Office of Tourism to attend ASTA World Travel Congress and ASTA's CruiseFest East in Miami

Amy Powers, Director of CruiseMaine and Mark Turek, Product Development Manager for the State of Maine Office of Tourism will be exhibiting at the Miami show from October 21 st -25 th . The pair is also going to be visiting several of the South Florida based cruise lines and is scheduling some media appointments during that week.

“CruiseMaine is thrilled to have the support of the State Office of Tourism and we look forward to networking with travel agents to inform them of the opportunities to sell Maine to their cruise customers,” says Powers, “and as we've watched new homeports emerge on the eastern seaboard the travel agent industry can now sell cruises featuring Maine ports that originate from the ports of Baltimore, Philadelphia and our own Bangor, Maine, among the traditional homeports of Montreal, New York and Boston.”

For more information about the trade show, please check the official website out at www.astanet.com/conference . Coalition members interested in having their marketing materials brought to the show should send them to Amy no later than October 15 th , 2003 .
