Port of Eastport, Maine: Gateway to Historic Passamaquoddy Bay

"Three Nations-One Destination"

The Island City of Eastport represents America at its most natural, most serene, and most inviting.  It is not only the Port of Entry for those who visit “Downeast” Maine; it is a port of scenic beauty.  Come, make your plans for the future, make a stop at one of America’s most historic seaports.

The magnetism of the harbor draws visitors from around the world.  Blessed with its historic waterfront, its Federal, Greek Revival, and Victorian houses; eighteenth and nineteenth century architecture, much of the city has been deemed a historic site.

The Eastport area offers the visitor a bounty from the sea in a variety of restaurants and lodgings.  But the most generous of bounties for our guests are the sublime scenery, the serenity of a place unspoiled, and the warm welcome offered to all who venture “Downeast” to the coast of Maine and the maritimes.  The port of Eastport is your gateway to all of the borders of Passamaquoddy Bay.
